Bromley Conservatoire Festival of Music & Performing Arts
This Spring, Bromley Conservatoire proudly hosted its very first Festival of Music & Performing Arts and what an incredible success it was!
Set over two weekends in April and May, the festival brought together young performers from the Bromley Conservatoire community and beyond to celebrate music, performance and creativity in all its forms. From beautiful piano and strings performances through to energetic musical theatre and an inclusive SEND category, the festival showcased the talent and dedication of many local children.
Throughout the two weekends, students had the opportunity to perform in a supportive and encouraging environment, gaining valuable performance experience and building confidence whilst also receiving feedback from professional adjudicators; Emma Bond and Helen Chenaf.
The families, teachers and adjudicators we spoke to all commented on the high standard of performances and the positive atmosphere created throughout the event. One parent commented:
"(My child) really enjoyed her experience today. As she has not done a graded exam just yet, this was such a positive performance experience for her and we really value the comments from the adjudicator and all the amazing work you put into it to organise such a fantastic event for the children."
A huge thank you from us to the students, families, teachers, volunteers and adjudicators who helped make the festival possible. Your support, encouragement and enthusiasm created such a warm and inspiring event.
Following the success of this year’s festival, we are delighted to confirm that the Bromley Conservatoire Festival of Music & Performing Arts will return next year, and we look forward to welcoming even more performers in 2027!
