About Tuition Classes

We offer a range of primary tuition at Bromley Conservatoire from reception to 11+ exam preparation. We have enjoyed much success with our 7+ (KS1) and 11+ tuition with our students gaining places at: Eltham College, JAPS, Bromley High School, Croydon High School, Newstead Woods, Bexley grammar schools and Kent grammar schools. The youngest children in our reception class work on both Maths and English. The focus on Maths and English continues in the KS1 classes. The maths curriculum covers all aspects including: place value, computations, shapes, measurement, data representation and fractions. English tasks focus on reading comprehension, creative writing and factual writing. Handwriting, spelling and grammar are addressed during every English lesson. The children are tested at the end of each half-term to identify gaps in their knowledge and to give practice of working in a timed environment. Homework is set after each class and verbal feedback is given to parents and they have an opportunity to view the work covered in the class.
