Here's what students explore in this course.
Students will learn how to design 3D models using CAD software and understand how digital designs are prepared and produced using 3D printing technology
Learners will create multiple printed objects each half-term, developing skills in modelling, scaling, measurement and functional design
Students will explore how products are prototyped and manufactured by moving from simple designs to more complex and practical builds
Learners will develop creativity and technical accuracy by testing, refining and improving their designs across several iterations
Students will gain experience with the full workflow from concept to finished object, including design, slicing and production
The class runs as an ongoing programme with new project themes each half-term, allowing learners to continually develop and expand their design skills
My son hasn't stopped talking about his class. He's learning real skills and he doesn't even realise it because he's having so much fun.
