Learners will investigate how websites work behind the scenes, including requests, forms and data handling, and discover how insecure coding can create vulnerabilities

Students will develop awareness of social engineering by examining phishing, pretexting, voice and AI scams, and understanding how digital footprints can be exploited

Learners will explore wireless and device security by looking at how Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC and smart technologies can be attacked or protected

Students will be introduced to digital forensics and incident response by analysing files, identifying suspicious activity and understanding how cyber incidents are investigated

The course culminates in a hands-on cyber challenge where learners apply their knowledge to model threats, design defences and take part in a safe, structured capture-the-flag style competition
