Bromley Conservatoire is a specialist conservatoire for individual music tuition and small-group performing arts. Students join through monthly membership, with teaching, progression and performance held to a high standard.

Welcome to Bromley
Founded in 2020 by Judith King and Sebastian King, Bromley Conservatoire grew from more than two decades of piano teaching in the borough. We exist so that children, young people and adults can study music and performing arts with specialist teachers, a clear sense of progress, and regular opportunities to perform. Membership is the way students belong here: tuition sits inside a wider education, not as an isolated appointment in the diary.
What We Teach
Specialist teaching in music and performing arts, held together by membership. Choose a pathway to explore.

Learn with a specialist for your instrument, then take your place in concerts, graded exams and a pathway you can actually see. Lessons are one-to-one. Membership is how the weekly hour becomes a musical education.
Explore Music

Small-group programmes in acting and musical theatre, public speaking and acting for screen. Theatre Tots (ages 3–5) is the first class. Young Performers (ages 5–7) develops individual skills across those disciplines before children choose one or more specialisms. From 7–16, the same disciplines run as Storytellers, Rising Stars and Headliners. Classes are kept deliberately small so that every student is seen, directed and stretched. Many programmes follow recognised examination routes, with performance built into the year rather than added at the last minute.

We are happy with Bromley Conservatoire. It is a good place for children to develop a love of music, and the teaching has been thoughtful and encouraging.

My son was assigned a piano teacher who took him seriously as a beginner. Within a short time he was reading simple music, and the lessons have been both precise and kind.

Our daughter takes LAMDA and musical theatre classes. She enjoys the lessons and we are pleased with her progress.
