My son is quite happy with Tom.

I’ve never played piano before and starting as an adult beginner was daunting. Tom is very friendly and patient. He sets the right pace to a lesson and is very encouraging.

My assessment of Tom’s teaching is that he is professional, patient, effective and kind. As a beginner to piano since October 2024, the progress my daughter MF has made in a short space of time is impressive. I see that my child can not only play the piano, but understands how to read the music clearly also. This is due to Tom’s clear explanations. We receive feedback via a report on each lesson and pieces to practise before the next lesson, it is clear to my child what is expected of her and she personally recognises her progress. My child fully looks forward to her lesson each week with Tom and ensures that she puts in some practise every day even if only 15 minutes. In 3 words my daughter describes Tom as excellent, amazing and joyful. Tom is an asset to Bromley Conservatoire 😁.
