Classes are capped, so each student is directed and stretched. This is small-group teaching, not a hall of children following a script.
Performing arts in Bromley
Small-group classes in acting, musical theatre, public speaking and acting for screen. Students work towards showcases and recognised exams, with a pathway you can actually see. Membership is how the weekly hour becomes a performing education. The first class is free for new students.

The weekly class is only the beginning
Every student is taught in a small group, with a teacher for that discipline. Membership wraps that class in performance, recognised exams that mark progress, and a next step - the things a single weekly slot cannot do on its own.
On stage all year
Showcases sit inside the class year, in proper theatres. Students learn to work with an audience as they learn the craft.
Exams mark progress
Recognised grades - LAMDA in person, Trinity digitally - are prepared in the weekly class. Each sitting is a record of work already done.
A clear next step
Theatre Tots, then Young Performers, then a specialism. Students know what they are working towards, and what comes after it.
A weekly class report
Sent after the session, covering what the class worked on.
Proper theatres
Showcases are at Beardwood Theatre or the Mitre Theatre - lighting, sound, seating and backstage.

The weekly class is held at a set time, in line with our term dates.

Students prepare in the weekly class, then sit LAMDA in person at Bromley Conservatoire.

What you can study
Performing arts programmes currently offered at Bromley Conservatoire. Theatre Tots is the first class; Young Performers develops individual skills in public speaking, acting and musical theatre before a specialism. From 7–16, those disciplines run as Storytellers, Rising Stars and Headliners. Fees are billed over 11 months, with no charge in August. Examination entry and exam administration are billed separately, unless a programme includes them.
