Performing Arts
Recognised performing arts examinations, prepared in the weekly class and sat at the conservatoire. LAMDA examinations are in person; Trinity Stars and Trinity Screen are taken digitally. Exams run twice a year.

Bromley Conservatoire is authorised to host LAMDA examinations in person. Exam day takes place here - the same rooms, the same building - so students sit in comfort rather than in an unfamiliar hall.

How exams run
Performing arts exams run at the conservatoire twice a year. Students sit in a session once the work in the weekly class is secure.
The student's own teacher lets us know when they are ready to sit. We then enter them for the next session.
LAMDA certificates are handed over after the sitting - a record of work already done, and a prompt for the next grade. Trinity results are recorded digitally.

Theatre Tots work towards Trinity Stars. Acting for Screen works towards Trinity Screen grades. Both are taken at the conservatoire as digital examinations, in a familiar room - not sent away to an external venue.
How Students Are Prepared
Students work towards an exam in the weekly class, and sit when that work is secure. Examination entry fees and examination administration fees are billed separately from monthly membership, unless a programme includes them.
Pieces, speech and supporting work are taught in the small-group class. The exam is a record of work already done, not a separate course bolted on at the end of term.
Theatre Tots work towards Trinity Stars. Acting for Screen works towards Trinity Screen grades. Young Performers, acting and musical theatre, and public speaking follow LAMDA.
Preparation sits inside the class. Examination entry fees and examination administration fees are billed separately from monthly membership, unless a programme includes them.
